Hello travelers!
First, I’d like to thank you for the lovely comments you write here and on my social media accounts. You were able to convince me that my stories have truly touched you and, in one way or another, inspired you which was by the way the reason behind the creation of this blog. Just when I thought, what could be better than this, great news came in. I wouldn’t be exaggerating describing them as spectacular.
In the beginning of this week a family, readers of my blog, reached out to me. They wanted to connect with Sibu and help him financially for the school. Of course, I gave them Sibu’s contact information immediately.
I’d like to remind you, that on my first trip to India, I met a young man who had left his job at a Buddhist monastery and had founded a school for kids from extremely poor families. For those of you who haven’t read the story, you can find it in Episode 4: India.
Later I received an email from Sibu. In it, he proceeds to tell me that he hadn’t forgotten me, despite the fact that we had stopped talking for the past 2 years and how the news of the donation caught him in a very difficult financial moment for the school.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Angela and Bobby Ivanovi for helping Sibu. Honestly, I haven’t felt this happy in a long time, which reminds me of two things. First, happiness is bigger when we help others, and second, I need to start doing it more often.
